Not only do we remain in the hospital, but we were moved to a very familiar place in the Children’s Hospital. We are back in 7C, the pediatric cardiology unit. It was about mid-night last night when the charge nurse over on 8D came and asked me if I would be willing to move to […]

Saturday, June 30th, 2007It was my call to stay in the hospital with Caden over night even though we technically could have gone home with him tonight. The bleeding has all but stopped and Caden has met all of the doctor’s criteria for discharge. That said, the doctor was okay if we wanted to wait until the morning […]
The bleeding continued throughout the night. The bleeding is very slow, but concerning enough for the doctor to want to keep Caden one more day. Caden’s attending ENT doctor will not be in the hospital until later today so he may change the plan once he sees Caden in person. Right now I feel better […]
It was an eventfully day here at MUSC. I wrote a few emails today to those who subscribe to the email updates for Caden’s Page. I was unable to post directly to the blog for a while. Below is the majority of what I wrote today. Scroll to the bottom of this post for the […]

Yes that was plural, he has been cutting multiple molars this week. He started pretty much on Sherry’s birthday with the teeth cutting thing. She was quick […]
We are all doing pretty good here in the Osborne camp. Caden’s newest word is “uh-oh”! Sherry says it works really well for Caden to say since it is all vowel sounds. Caden is on his umptenth round of antibiotics this week due to fever and excessive congestion. His fever jumped up above 103 early […]
Caden turned 27 months old this week and has been doing pretty good. He is now on his 8th or 9th round of antibiotics since September for excessive congestion and an ear infection. Other than that, he has been dazzling the therapists as usual. Caden is walking more than he crawls these days. Friday before […]
